For me, the best consumer electronic gadget I’ve purchased in a long time is Turtle Beach’s Audiotron unit. It’s a stereo component that serves as a network client, can read Windows-compatible file shares via Ethernet or HPNA (home telephone wire networks), play Internet radio feeds and plugs directly into my stereo.
