im researching buying time capsule now and a lot of people are mentioning this problem. it seems best to do first backup wired. but also somethings seem to slow it down enormously, like virus protectors and spotlight… curious if you figure it out cause in theory time capsule seems great to me but…
my imac crashed like hell, and then started smoking electrical fire smell. they replaced power supply and i had to restore the system software. i also restored a damaged itunes library with time machine, but after, time machine showed no old files, which i did not need but what if i had?
mostly im loving it but these things are freaking me out a little.
