I have had one from Cecchini and it was easily the best piece of meat that i ever had in my life! The customs story is more amazing than you think, i have had trouble with those styrofoam boxes from Italy, (not with the Cecchini label, though) I am wondering if i was just missing something like a payoff – was a much more local airport than Florence…
oh that was now two summers ago and it is killing me, i want some so bad! I think the cow is called a Chianina…
I want to go eat there across the street from the butcher…he cooks for a few people some nights per week. im sure you really have to plan ahead.
