When I was in high school, there was this guy who spun records at a local club (bear in mind this was in small-town south Georgia in the 80’s) who went by the name “MC Mixing Bowl” ...

I went to college with a DJ Clambake and a DJ Sprink-LZ. Sprink-LZ planned on paying for his turntable by playing kids’ parties. (“Birthday boy/girl throw your speakers in the trash/’Cuz DJ Sprink-LZ gave the woofer a gash!”)
