Sometimes, when my baby is looking so adorable, sweet and cute that I can barely stand it, I want to grab her and squeeze her until her head pops off. So my question to other parents is, how do you prevent yourself from doing that? I’m serious!

Well, it’s actually pretty easy: remind yourself that if in fact his/her head DOES pop off, he/she will no longer look particularly cute.

Add to that the difficulty the jury might have in understanding your ‘loving’ intentions…..

i don’t think i could stop myself… which is the reason no one has given me a baby as of yet.

Try nuzzling her neck and saying in a really high-pitched voice, “The sweeeetest part of the baby” instead. Worked for me every time.
