I can’t remember where I found this, but according to the article, SCO’s recent litigation attacks against Linux vendors and service companies were funded by Microsoft .

It reads sort of like an Iran-Contra thing. The alleged actions of Microsoft seem sinister and underhanded and, if true, ruthless, strong business tactics.

I’m fairly certain there is not one shred of illegal activity involved in this, but I’m not certain as I didn’t read the whole article in detail. As I was AIM-ing with my friend earlier when I saw that Martha Stewart was convicted of “Conspiracy” : since when are conspiracies illegal?
