Back in the Autumn, my wife, my friends Rachel and Simmy and their daughter Lily took a trip up to North Georgia to take in the scenery, breathe the fresh air and to buy up all of the locally-produced victuals we could find. To be more specific, we got muscadines, sweet potato butter, local honey made by bees that eat cotton flowers, mayhaw preserves, pepper jelly, scuppernongs, ciders, heirloom apples and other delights. Additionally, Jef and I took in some local catfish at a school-sponsored fish fry and celebrated by bottling our own delicious ale.
It took me this long to upload the photos.
