These stickers were all the rage when I was a kid, as was the “don’t Californicate Colorado” and “If God had meant Texans to ski, he’d have made bullshit white” expressions. I even had an English teacher in 8th grade who told us that we were permitted to not capitalize California or Texas because Californians took all our water and Texans were buying up all of our land.
I don’t harbor any ill will, but I’m still very happy to be a native Coloradan. It’s nice to be from a state that, when you tell people where you’re from, they say, “why do you live here then?”
I probably won’t post again until I return from Little Rock, Arkansas, where I will be attending the wedding of my best buddy Asheton (Ashetonio Bandares, Tone, Ashetonian), another native Coloradan. He is wedding the lovely Anna, and it should prove to be a stupendous weekend as the Four Clydesdales, with Val driving the wagon, will reunite for the first time in the 2Ks. Expect vidieo and photos upon my return.

Where did Coloradoans come from before they were in Colorado? Somewhere else.
I’m from Texas. Moved to Colorado. Nobody has given me a hard time about it either. One thing I have noticed about Colorado is a very, very, very subtle form of racism. . .

Whether we natives give new comers a hard time or not depends on their attitude. As long as they are respectful and appreciate living here then fine by me. The only ones I give a hard time are the ones who come here from somewhere else (overwhelmingly California) and then bitch and moan about how it isn’t California and how its so much better there and they hate being in Colorado which honestly makes me want to punch them in the face.

The only people I’ve found here in Colorado who make it a point to make sure everyone knows they’re a Colorado native. Are half-wit rednecks who have never left their city much less their state, and are in a pissing contest with other “natives” over who has a bigger and louder piece of shit vehicle! (most of which are actually Texans in disguise)
Other than those peckerwoods this state is great!
