I’m in the process of migrating all of the photos to the multimedia gallery. On the plus side, I hope to take this opportunity to provide something that has been devestatingly absent from my existing photo site: editorial discretion. On the down side, once I move them over, I will be giving the current photo gallery the “rm -rf” treatment, which is going to break Google Image Search something awful and cause a lot of grief to many bandwidth stealers out there on the Internet.

Speaking of bandwidth stealers, check out this guy’s little profile (oops. link removed due to site being gone); it’s interesting. He had stolen an image from my site and now, he gets mister piggy working it out. I never would have known that Surinamese wannabe Snoopy-gangstas living in the Netherlands thought they were so tough, were it not for the fact that he shows up in my access logs. I somehow doubt that he’s really got that gun, living in Holland and all. And, to be sure, those booty babes were stolen from an American website. Also, really, really tough people don’t hang out on the Internet.

UPDATE: no, I will not be doing any fancy re-write rules like I did when I migrated the content to the new system. That was a pain in the ass and, quite frankly, I give less than a rat’s ass whether or not I break the links. It’s time for a clean break, due to all the bandwidth theft. In fact, I’m considering requiring registration to view the photo albums to keep spiders, bots and lazy linkers at bay.
