Human Heart Connector

On the news (ATL channel 11) this morning:

A human heart was found on the downtown connector this morning by members of a construction crew.

No comment. No details. I’ve already made up one hundred stories about it, 99 of them very creepy. You should too.

Sounds like it belongs to some of the real estate developers I work for. Actually, for those guys, it would make more sense if they found a soul.

I was thinking this afternoon that it might be like the horse head in one of those Godfather movies: a calling card and a warning to Atlanta. From whom, I’m not sure: either Al Qaeda, Billy Payne, the Colorado Avalanche or Sidney Dorsey.

Turns out it was a sheep heart. The real question is, WHY was there a sheep heart, in a marked plastic bag, on the connector?
