Should my wife and I ever decide that we do not wish to, or discover that we are unable to have children, we will live the life of modern nomads.

    Sounds better than being a parent to me. But then, most things do.

    I can't say that I blame you …. especially in this broken culture where there's a very weak sense of family and community (at best) and the buying power of the middle class has come to resemble more that of the impoverished than of financial stability.
