I am scheduled to take the Red Hat engineering certification exam in July, so I decided to download Red Hat Linux to install on my old PC in order to practice and study.
I started downloading ISO images yesterday. So far, I have one and two are still coming down the pipe. That’s a 1.54Mbps pipe, mind you. But the transfer rate I’m geting is about 4k/sec.
I actually managed to fine one mirror that’s running at about 50k/sec, but it will only let me download one ISO image at a time.
I’m telling you: this stuff is not “free.” But I suppose it’s better than paying $149.00.
