Halfass.com will be moving to a new host very soon. Expect some freakouts and general unavailability during the coming weeks.

How does this affect you?

site visitors: you should not see any problems, although you may notice some structural and navigational changes. I am probably going to kill the “features” section and migrate all of the content into this weblog. Please be patient with me. I’ll also be implementing a brief “content freeze” during the migration to make certain that the two sites contain identical content during the DNS propagation.

weblog authors: I’ll probably have to re-create all of your accounts on the new server. This will mean new passwords and the like. However, I’m researching the possibilities surrounding a complete data migration which could make this a bit more simple.

email users: if you have a halfass.com email address, I’m almost certain that something’s going to get messed up. Contact me if you experience email difficulties.
