There’s a woman where Chris and I work who comes in every morning, turns on her computer and then leaves until the afternoon. She’s not a manager or anything, so she’s not sprinting off to meetings. We’re not sure why she does this, or even what she does, but we just know that it is so.

I’ve actually spotted her doing some sort of needlepoint or crochet one day. She, apparently, at one point also learned Perl, judging by the Georgia Tech continuing education binders, but they’re at least 5 years old now.
I don’t know where she came from or where she’ll be going, but I know I’m sure jealous.

I’ve been to the ends of the Internet and back with all the idle time at my current job.

Oh, me too, don’t get me wrong, I’ve bumped my head on the far side of the Internet at least a couple times.
But at least when I go to the office, I stay there for some period of time, barring any 2 hour lunch adventures.
