Time to get a new job

One of the government secretaries, who sits near me and who admittedly probably has no idea what I do all day, just asked me if I went to college. Ack.

    in IT, where I work, you get a lot of people who have advanced skills, but no education. it’s annoying to see a 23 year old making the same $ as me and who barely graduated high school. it’s sort of depressing, too.

    I just keep telling myself that college was about learning things, not about getting a job.

    my friend mike always said that one’s primary purpose in college is to collect annecdotes for cocktail parties in adult likfe.
