Klaus und Helmut sind Freunde und gehen in die gleiche Schulklasse. Klaus hat seit drei Monaten eine Freundin – Tanja. Seit er sie hat ist er wie ausgewechselt. Er kommt nicht mehr in den Park um Fußball zu spielen. Er muß dauernd lernen – man könnte fast meinen er ist ein “Streber” geworden – und hat überhaupt keine Zeit mehr für seine alten Freunde. Helmut findet Tanja sehr nett er hat sie gestern nach der Schule zufällig im Eisgeschäft getroffen uns sich mit ihr einige Minuten über die Schule und den kommenden Wandertag unterhalten. Anfangen möchte er mit ihr nichts. Scheinbar hat sich Klaus darüber geärgert – er ist gestern nicht dabei gewesen und jetzt will Klaus mit Helmut “reden”. Was der nur will? (in German)

I find it funny…

On another note, will be evacuating ATL via the (fingers crossed) giant flying machines of Airtran (first class, hopefully) in just a few hours. My destination is one of the greatest cities in the world: New Orleans. I will be attending Daniel and Scarlet’s wedding, so it should be a nice time. The Morning 40 Federation is playing a show, so hopefully we’ll convince everybody to party there late night.

I’ll be staying in the French Quarter for the first time. I tend to avoid the Quarter other than to pick up Mufallatas or to hit the Cuban coffee joint with Sherm, who lives accross Esplenade in the Treme. But this time, I’m happy to do it. The wedding and all related events will happen in the Quarter, so we won’t need a car and can instead hoof it around and get our swerve on real propper-like (as is very easy in New Orleans since “to go” is an option at every bar).
