I came across the greatest download of all the other day: the Classic Monday Night Football theme. I did some research and discovered the treasure is appropriately called “Heavy Action.” Before the boondock hucksterism of Hank Jr was the classic opening instrumental theme, the soundtrack for countless blue collar Monday nights. A perfect soundscape of tension buildup leading up to the Victory and Glory blasting horn section. The theme song feasibly could be used for most anything; If I were President, I would use it for State of the Union speeches, it would be perfect. It doesn’t have the full length version of “heavy action” but here is a short version and some great classic MNF video replete with mustard-yellow sport coats and great 70’s graphics including a clip of Howard Cosell chatting with John Lennon.

wow, does that ever bring back memories. Particulary, the Elway-Montana duel, which SUCKED.
I think we should try harder to make the President thing happen. You got 1 vote in the last election, maybe we can start a platform.
