For those of you paying attention, you may have caught this entry about the fact that I learned one of my good friends was about to succumb to cancer.
She’s been gone since 8-4-02.
I still don’t know how to feel or how to react. So I’m just feeling and reacting.
For certain I understand how fragile, precious and short life remains. It’s time for action.
Kristi Wiggins, we love you forever. A part of us went with you, but part of you will always remain with us.

Kristi (L), the way we’ll always remember her.

This is terrible news, just terrible.

I agree. I was really broken up about it for a while. I’ve been able to adjust somewhat, and remember the good things. I can’t even express how sorry I feel for her parents. Losing a child… Bless them!

I knew Kristi Wiggins from grade school in Andover, Kansas. I lived less
that a mile from her house growing up. We were in journalism class in High
School and were voted most non-conformist girl and boy of out graduating
class (Not at all surprising if you knew Kristi). Anyway I haven’t heard
from Kristi in several years and made a few attempts to email. I put her
name into a search engine and found your article

If she died on August 4th, she died on my 30th birthday. I did not hear of
her death until today. I am not really in contact with many people from home
that knew her. There was no way to find out, so I am just now finding out.
She was great. The last time I saw her was just after her surgery in the
summer of 99. For such a small girl she was kicking that cancer in the ass.
We went to see Eyes Wide Shut. Every time I see that movie I think of her.
She had half of her head shaved and had a great hat.
Im sorry I just miss my friend. She really kicked ass.
Thank you for paying tribute to such a great person, my friend Kristi.
I email you to ask if you know her parents email, home address or anything
so I might pay my condolences to her family.
Thank you
