They’re "in your head, man"

I knew there was something up with those guys.

DENVER (Wireless Flash)—There’s something fishy about the band Phish—at least if you believe a man who’s been to more than 30 of the group’s psychedelic shows.

23-year-old Dan Hinman claims he’s witnessed all sorts of odd behavior at the concerts and has concluded that the shows might be mind control experiments conducted by the government. Hinman says the band plays very unique hypnotic tones and notes which frequently transform the audience into a group of willing zombies.

Even more suspicious, the band has held several concerts at military bases where mind control projects are supposedly underway.

Hinman believes the government might be experimenting with a method to control the youth of America by making them more passive.

He claims the sad thing is that most Phish fans are so devoted to the band, they refuse to believe the concerts could be mind control experiments.

...or maybe it is just bad music.

The copious amounts of mushrooms and pot might also be a contributing factor here. I wonder what other theories 23 year old Dan Hinman has? That the Universe can fit on the head of a pin?Breaking News from the Wireless Flash-Dan Hinman goes on 2 hour rant about the ancient Aztecs! The story was taken from a hardcore Christian site that apparently makes up “news” like the Phish expose.

They don’t make news up. They are inspired by the Lord; He is their co-pilot. In this case, He spoke to them through the critically acclaimed film, Josie and the Pussycats, which was really an expose on the connection between mind-control and rock music. You have to ask yourself what young Mr. Hinman is doing at a Phish concert to begin with. I think he should spend some time playing Beatles albums backwards or something.

Hey! I figured out the startling similarity between the Aztec calendar and a large Roadrunner’s pepperoni pizza. Ask me about it next time we’re tipping a few.

What the F$&#?!??!? Dan Hinman has gotten older since this publication, but his views have remained unchanged.

Anyone who doubts the fact the phish was in bed with someone at the upper levels of our goverment never went to one of the festivals. Think about it WHERE WERE THE POLICE? How is it that drugs are sold openly yet there is no police, except the mounties, and the yellow shirt safety folks. Phish distracted an entire generation. When Trey announced the end of phish of the charlie rose show, he was telling his handlers “I will not continue”. End.

I’ve never been to a phish concert but I have been to a few festivals(i’m not but phish actually might have played) and noticed something was just not right. I can’t explain it. But it was like everyone lost their indiviuality and like Dan said turned into mindless zombies. I felt like I was being watched the whole time too.It creeped me out. I told a couple of people that went to the shows and they said it was the drugs but I know there was something else (i mean how do bands that suck make everyone dance). I mean whats up with the family the cops and the rain? There’s a weird vibe at those places but they keep you coming back for more. Maybe it’s a govermental experiment or some kind of satanic cult (the dance of the dead). I could go on but I think Dan has the right kind of idea.
