I don’t suppose anybody cares, but I am really starting to think that iPlanet Application Server 6 is more of a pain in the ass than it’s worth.

I have been waiting for 15 minutes for an iasdeploy command to exit… If I kill it, will my whole app server die as well? Who knows? That’s the deal with iPlanet Application Server: you can never tell what’s going to happen.

Who cares if it’s J2EE compliant if the thing can’t run?
