this feature: The awesome “Gimlet”
The history-seems to date from the Mid-60’s or before
File Under-Tart
What you need:
Cocktail Shaker-this is most important and can be had for cheap at Target.
Ice-the bag “cocktail” variety is best.
Gin-Leyden’s, Tanqueray 10, or Seagrams will do the trick
Rose’s Lime Juice
A couple limes
club soda
Fill shaker half full of ice, add 1.5 oz Gin, .5 oz Rose’s lime juice and a splash of fresh lime juice; shake for at least one minute.
You can use fresh lime juice instead of Rose’s, but you’ll need sugar syrup to balance the tartness-powder sugar won’t dissolve in the frosty environment of the cocktail shaker!
Top your frosted glass off with club soda
Garnish this sicko with sliced lime.
Next time-”The Suffering Bastard”

I am completely lost and confused. Is this where I’m supposed to say something?
