Halfass is the website of a husband, father, technologist, writer, hiker, music listener, photo taker, international civil servant, and man of good cheer living in Vienna, Austria. He loves his family, his work and is just generally pretty much happy when he gets enough sleep.

Founded in 1995, the original motto of Halfass was “Halfass gets the job done, too.” The motto is now “Trying to think of better excuses.”
